The floods in Assam have affected lakhs of people across several districts. Resultant power outages have led to disruption of voice and internet services in some parts. While a significant part of these has been restored, the situation in Cachar, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Dima Hasao, Hojai, Lakhimpur, and Udalguri, remains challenging. With most of the shops closed, customers are finding it difficult to undertake recharges.
