Successful growth of Škoda Auto

Škoda Auto India has achieved a sales milestone of selling over 1,00,000 cars in the last two years, thanks to its India-centric product strategy. The company launched two world-class products, the Kushaq and Slavia, which took the company over six years to reach. In 2022, the company registered sales of 53,721 cars, but in 2023, it achieved sales of 48,755 units. The Kodiaq also recorded a 100% jump in sales volume, making India a key market for Škoda Auto.

The company has expanded its network and customer base, with 260 touchpoints at the end of 2023. Brand Director Petr Janeba emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum through 2023, focusing on continuous enhancements across the product range, widening the network, and improving sales and after-sales quality.In 2023, the Kushaq and Slavia achieved full 5-star safety ratings under Global NCAP’s stricter test protocols.

Škoda Auto India is exporting India-made cars to the GCC and other right-hand drive markets and plans to enter Vietnam in 2024. The company is part of the Volkswagen Group and has been a member for 30 years. Škoda Auto India is present in over 150 cities with over 260 customer touchpoints and recorded a 125% triple-digit growth of 53,721 units sold in 2022.
