Super Shopsy Mela sets record-breaking sale event

Shopsy by Flipkart, India’s fastest-growing hyper-value e-commerce platform, recently concluded its shopping festival for the winter season – Super Shopsy Mela. During the Super Shopsy Mela sale event, Shopsy observed heightened participation from customers in tier 2 and beyond cities, with local sellers from across the country coming together to serve millions of customers. The event propelled economic growth for lakhs of regional sellers.

The January sale event on Shopsy App saw a 41% growth in customers, with 35% being first-time shoppers. UP, Maharashtra, and Bihar contributed to the highest orders, with over 60% of customers from Tier 3+ cities.

Tier 2+ cities, including Cuttack, Guwahati, Gorakhpur, Medinipur, and Muzaffarpur, drove the highest demand. The demand chart primarily topped in categories such as ethnic fashion, home essentials, winter collection, and kids fashion.
