The Delhi BJP president said he would meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and request him to order an inquiry into the violence. He was also confused about how Rohingyas and Bangladeshis living illegally in Delhi were given water and electricity connections in the deal.

Two locals who recorded the movies spoke exclusively to India Today. 30-year-old Anwara said, “I was once coming from the market when around 2.15 pm Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra was crossing the market. I noticed human beings brandishing weapons and that is why I shot the video.”
