Following the gloomy and cloudy weather in the city over the past few days, the state is set to experience moderate isolated rainfall starting today and continuing for the next week. Actually Thangjalal Lhouvum, State in Charge of the Indian Meteorological Department, told The Shillong Times that following this spell of rain, the weather is expected to become dry, and will experience normal to above normal temperatures. Additionally, he also stated that the IMD would issue warnings in case of extreme weather conditions, such as hailstorms or similar situations.
Today it is difficult to predict weather as it is changing with time and people have very less idea about it. Actually the weather of Shillong is generally cold and people need to adjust with the weather. Also in Shillong rainfall can happen anytime and it is unpredictable. In reality it is very good that people are getting awareness about the weather so that they can deal with it properly.
