Tata AIA expands insurance awareness drive in West Bengal

These events have attracted a significant number of attendees, many of whom have decided to join Tata AIA’s agency force. This not only strengthens the company’s sales team but also contributes to expanding insurance reach in the region.In addition to recruitment efforts, Tata AIA has conducted several on-ground initiatives to educate consumers about the importance of life insurance. The ‘Bimarath’ campaign, organized in collaboration with IndusInd Bank, involved promotional vans equipped with LED displays that showcased informative videos about life insurance benefits. These vans visited various locations across West Bengal, reaching thousands of potential customers.

The company has also forged partnerships with industry associations to enhance its reach and credibility. Tata AIA’s collaboration with the Chartered Accountants Association of Malda provided an opportunity to educate financial professionals about the benefits of life insurance and the career opportunities available in the insurance industry. The ‘Masik Bima Divas’, held on the second Thursday of every month, provides a platform for branch-based activities that educate consumers about life insurance solutions. The company’s social media campaigns, featuring local themes and icons, have successfully reached over 2 million users in West Bengal.

Furthermore, Tata AIA has leveraged the Common Service Center (CSC) network to expand its reach to rural areas. By partnering with Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), the company has established a presence in remote regions and provided insurance solutions to a wider population. As a result of these comprehensive initiatives, Tata AIA has significantly improved its penetration in West Bengal. As of July 2024, the company had secured the lives of over 11,000 consumers.
