Tata AIG Aids Nagaland Government in Increasing Health Insurance Penetration

Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is committed to driving insurance penetration in Nagaland as part of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India’s (IRDAI) initiative-“StateInsurance Plan” and has been chosen as a lead insurer for spreading awareness in the state of Nagaland. Health insurance penetration and protection gaps arise from lower awareness and limited distribution network accessibility.

The Nagaland government aims to address under insurance and lack of awareness by offering group health insurance solutions for citizens. These solutions provide financial assistance for hospitalization and reduce out-of-pocket expenditure on hospital care. Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited emphasizes evaluating the purchasing power of the masses when choosing health insurance policies.

 Nagaland are people are encouraged to enroll in government health insurance to protect themselves and their families from unforeseen healthcare costs.
