Tata Motors Ltd. reported a strong performance in November 2025, registering 35,539 commercial vehicle (CV) sales across domestic and international markets, up from 27,636 units in November 2024—marking a solid 29% year-on-year (YoY) growth. The company witnessed broad-based momentum across all segments, signalling a continued recovery in industrial and logistics demand.
In category-wise performance, HCV trucks grew 34% to 10,181 units, ILMCV trucks rose 35% to 5,905 units, and passenger carriers increased 11% to 3,340 units. The SCV cargo and pickup segment recorded a 19% rise at 13,327 units. Domestic CV sales climbed to 32,753 units, reflecting 25% growth, while the company’s international business surged 92% to 2,786 units. Overall MH&ICV sales stood at 17,607 units, up 33% YoY.
In Kolkata, fleet operators and dealers reported improved replacement demand and expanding logistics requirements ahead of the year-end freight cycle. The city’s thriving MSME base and increased movement of goods through the Kolkata Port have boosted purchases of medium and heavy trucks, aligning with the robust nationwide trend. The company, formerly TML Commercial Vehicles Ltd., formalised its name change on 29 October 2025 following NCLT approval, and its equity shares are now listed on BSE and NSE.
