Tata Motors drives safety innovation: Punch.ev and Nexon.ev earn coveted 5-star ratings

Tata Motors, at the forefront of India’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution has achieved significant acclaim with its Punch.ev and Nexon.ev models securing coveted 5-star safety ratings from Bharat-NCAP. These accolades underscore Tata’s unwavering commitment to pioneering safety standards in the automotive industry.

Punch.ev, the latest addition to Tata’s EV portfolio, achieved record-breaking scores of 31.46/32 for adult occupant protection (AOP) and 45/49 for child occupant protection (COP), marking it as the highest scorer ever recorded by Bharat-NCAP. Meanwhile, Nexon.ev demonstrated stellar safety performance with scores of 29.86/32 for AOP and 44.95/49 for COP, reinforcing Tata Motors’ reputation for delivering robust safety across its SUV lineup.
