Commercial Vehicles, or CV, domestic sales increased by 4.9% in August 2023 compared to the previous year’s record of 30748. The total CV for commercial vehicles in August 2023 was 32077, up 1.9% from the previous year. MH&ICV domestic sales increased to 13,306 units in August 2023, up from 12,069 in August 2022. Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in August 2023, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,816 units compared to 12,846 units in August 2022.
Total PV domestic, including EV, for August 2023 was recorded at 45513, which declined by -3.5% from the previous year. Total PV, including EV, for August 2023 was recorded at 45933, which declined by -3% from the previous year, which was at 47351 in August 2022.
