Tata Tea Agni Leaf launches Tikuli art – inspired festive packs,strengthens regional connect this Chhath Puja

Tata Tea Agni Leaf, Bihar and Jharkhand’s leading tea brand, has unveiled limited-edition Chhath Puja packs featuring the 800-year-old Tikuliartform, celebrating the state’s rich cultural heritage. Designed under the guidance of Padma Shri awardee Mr. Ashok Kumar Biswas, the festive packs visually narrate the four-day rituals of NahayKhay, Kharna, SandhyaArghya, and UshaArghya, blending traditional Tikuli motifs with Mithila painting elements.

Accompanying the launch is a TVC that captures the essence of Chhath Puja—devotion, family togetherness, and reverence—through symbolic depictions like kharnakikheer, thekua, daura, and arghya, interwoven with glimpses of the Tikuli-inspired packs. The film, enriched by a soul-stirring soundtrack, aims to evoke nostalgia and regional pride.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Puneet Das, President – Packaged Beverages, India & South Asia, Tata Consumer Products, highlighted the brand’s commitment to celebrating cultural heritage while deepening consumer engagement. Mr. Biswas noted the collaboration as a platform to showcase Bihar’s art, while Mr. ArnabChatterjee of Tree Design emphasized bringing alive each day of Chhath through intricate illustrations.
