Tata Tiago hits the remarkable sales milestone of 5 Lakh units

Tata Motors has reached 500,000 sales for the Tiago, with 1 lakh vehicles delivered in 15 months. This demonstrates Tiago’s rising popularity among clients looking for exciting and enjoyable driving experiences. The festivities kicked off with a symbolic rollout at the Sanand plant in Gujarat. Over 40 accolades have been bestowed on the Tiago for its attractive design, safety features, interiors, and technology integration. The Tiago line includes the SUV-inspired Tiago NRG, which has off-roading capabilities and is available in petrol, CNG, and electric powertrains.

With a Net Promoter Score of 51, the brand’s success is evident. Tiago is a popular hatchback with a 35-year-old average buyer age, with 60% coming from urban and 40% from rural markets. It has gained popularity among first-time car buyers, with 71% making their maiden purchase in FY23.

The brand has achieved milestones, such as a 4-star safety rating from GNCAP in 2020, making it the safest hatch in its segment.
