The Supreme Court on Thursday pulled up advocate M.L. Sharma for making Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as respondents in his petition seeking a court-monitored SIT probe into the Pegasus snooping issue. A bench comprising Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and Justice Surya Kant said: “You have included certain individuals (Prime Minister and Home Minister as respondents in the petition). We can’t issue notice like this. Don’t try to take advantage of things, you have a defective memo of parties”.
