India on Monday successfully test-fired a new variant of its nuclear-capable Agni missile from a defence base off Odisha coast, an official statement by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said. DoT grants permission for 5G trial spectrum to MTNL

The Department of Telecom on Wednesday allowed the spectrum for 5G field trials to the state-owned telecom firm MTNL with C-DoT as its technology partner. Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea were given the spectrum in May to conduct 5G trials across select cities in India. "(The) DoT has given spectrum to MTNL for 5G trials in Delhi.
