An army jawan died after touching an overhead wire while filling a tanker with water. 4 more soldiers were injured. The incident took place at New Jalpaiguri station.
It is come to know that, on Thursday, an army train stopped at platform No. 5 of NJP station. At that time, one of the jawans was filling the tanker with water, and he accidentally touched an overhead wire and died on the spot.
When the soldier was taken to the railway hospital, the doctors declared him dead. The injured have been admitted to Benghubi Army Hospital.
