TET results set to be published before Puja in West Bengal

On Wednesday, West Bengal Board of Primary Education president Manik Bhattacharya said that The results of TET examination will be disclosed before the Puja.Accordingly, the recruitment will be done on the basis of merit list . Before that the answers of the question paper will also be published.Nearly 2.5 lakh candidates had appeared for the TET exam before the outbreak of the second wave of the pandemic. Next Tuesday the counselling mode will be published on the board website.

Earlier, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced last week that 24,500 teachers would be recruited for primary and secondary schools across the state . The recruitment could be done before the Puja . Bhattacharya said that a total number of 10,500 candidates would undergo counselling for the recruitment at the primary level.

The CM had earlier announced that at least 14,000 vaccines in the upper primary level (classes v – VII ) and 10,500 vacancies in the primary level (classes I – IV) will be appointed and it should be done before puja in October. Around 7,500 more post for primary teachers will be filled up by March 2022.
