The 25 COVID-19 cases without travel history are found to be related to the areas having godown and parking of the trucks.

GUWAHATI: “Coronavirus situation in Guwahati can be said to be serious as 25 people have tested positive do not have any travel or contact history,” said health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a press interaction on 13th June.
He cited the entering of goods trucks in the state as a possible carrier of the virus.” The truck workers take two to three days to load and unload. The 25 cases without travel history are found to be somewhat related to the areas having godown and parking of these trucks,” said Sarma.

As such all truck parkings, godowns, petrol pumps and even highway hotels and dhabas will be put under surveillance as possible epicentres.
Also screening centres and quarantine facilities are to be set up at the places where commodity trucks from other states are loaded and unloaded.
