The chief minister of Arunachal greets the state’s citizens on the occasion of Si Donyi

On the occasion of Si Donyi, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu welcomed the state’s citizens and celebrated the balance between nature and humans. The Arunachal chief minister reaffirmed the significance of the colorful event on the microblogging platform X. “This iconic festival reflects the deep cultural heritage so religiously preserved by the Tagin Tribe and the spiritual unity of our state, symbolizing peace and well-being for all,” said Chief Minister Khandu, praising the state’s spiritual oneness.

“Let us live, thrive, and smile in harmony with nature and the spirit of inclusivity,” the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh continued. May Si Donyi’s heavenly forces lead us to a happy, prosperous, peaceful, and united future. Prior to this, CM Khandu discussed important security concerns along the international border with Amitabh Gupta, the Inspector General of the North East Frontier. Important topics such as border security, the Vibrant Villages Program, the Memorandum of Understanding for local produce, and polyhouse horticulture at BOPs were discussed. Additionally, the Arunachal CM and the official talked about deepening their relationship with the local population.
