The Governor paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces

Here on Thursday, Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik took part in the month-long 62nd Walong Day celebration. The Governor honored the brave warriors of the Indian Armed Forces by laying a wreath at the Walong War Memorial. Additionally, he congratulated the families of locals who supported the Indian Army throughout the fight, the next of kin of war heroes, and the veterans of the 1962 conflict. According to the Governor, who spoke to the crowd at Walong Stadium, Walong Day honors the bravery of our people throughout the India-China War. Their unbreakable spirit is demonstrated by their bravery in the face of hardship and their unflinching commitment to the country’s sovereignty.

He expressed gratitude to everyone who attended, saying that their presence had enhanced the remembrance and made it a worthy homage to the brave Walong troops. While offering his wishes for Children’s Day, the Governor expressed his satisfaction with the involvement of schoolchildren and NCC cadets, saying that their presence gives him pride and optimism. He claimed that their fervent and passionate participation demonstrates the groundwork for a prosperous and safe future for the country. The governor encouraged the young people to follow the honorable path of serving the country with the same bravery and commitment displayed by the Walong heroes. They are the country’s future, he remarked, and their dedication may have a big impact.
