The global leader in digital transformation of energy automation and management Schneider Electric organised the Green Yodha Yatra in Guwahati, Assam. It is a reaffirmation of the company’s commitment to enable sustainable water management and building sustainable grids of the future.
It will take place in 20 cities throughout India this year across various sectors. Dignitaries such as Dr Lakshmanan S, MD, Guwahati Smart City Limited (GSCL) and Mr. Debajyoti Das, MD, Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) led the session on sustainable water and grids of the future respectively.
The company’s Green Yodha initiative aims to unite conscious citizens, businesses and institutions to take collective action to adopt energy efficiency, renewable and solar, automation, digitalization and a new world of electricity to meet both individual and corporate sustainability goals.
The company will host training sessions for grid personnel. Special skilling and knowledge sharing sessions have been designed to help utilities prepare for the New Energy World. These will provide an in-depth overview and hands-on experience of IoT enabled technology and software.
