Rohit appeared in a conversation with director Gaurav Kapoor and singer Ed Sheeran. There, Sheeran asked him about his future plans. Rohit’s reply, “Haven’t thought about coaching yet. But I don’t know where life will take me. I’m playing well now. So I want to play for a few more years.
Sheeran countered by asking, “Will India continue to play until they win the World Cup?” Rohit replied with a smile, “It’s just that I want to win the World Cup so badly. You can call it a dream of mine.” But for now, Rohit’s target is a little closer. He said he wants to play the final of the World Test Championship at Lord’s one more time next year. Said, “We have the World Test Championship at Lord’s next year. Want to play that. Hopefully we can make it to the final.”
