Starting January 2024, residents in Shillong can access state-of-the-art eye treatment facilities closer to home, thanks to the integration of private healthcare providers into health insurance schemes by the Meghalaya government.
The Retina Centre, a leading super-advanced eye hospital in Guwahati, Assam, has been enlisted under the Meghalaya Health Assurance Scheme. This development brings newfound hope for individuals requiring critical eye treatments, allowing them to benefit from advanced diagnostic facilities without incurring additional expenses.
