Restrictions Imposed !
For entire Assam:
All Municipalities and town Committies will be on lockdown on Saturday and Sunday, except Kamrup Metro and other rural areas of Assam.
There will be strict curfew from 7pm to 7AM all over Assam.
All flood control/ disaster management activities are exempted from lockdown.
Covid Care Centres will NOT BE CLOSED!
All ongoing critical Govt construction works shall continue.
Inter district Bus Service to be unoperational.
Kamrup Metro:
Sunday midnight to 12th July Kamrup Metro under total lockdown.
First 7 days, strict lockdown with only pharmacy / essential services/ health institutions / laboraties open. Not even grocery stores to be open. Review after 7 days. Some relaxations may be considered in the second week depending on the situation.
All offices to be closed except Secretariat and Directorates, which will operate with skeletal staff.
Bank with skeletal staff will be open.
