The World Cup squad announced not to have these two stars

2010 World Cup winners Spain announced their squad for the World Cup in Qatar. The list has seen several changes. Spain’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar has been announced. Luis Enrique has made a much younger squad this time. Spain’s 2022 World Cup campaign begins on November 23. Several of the biggest names in world football have been left out of Enrique’s Spain this year. Defender Sergio Ramos and goalkeeper David de Gea are missing from the 26-man World Cup squad.

Spain won the 2010 World Cup. In that World Cup, Ramos was seen in an important role alongside Puyol in defense. Later, he dominated Spain’s defense in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups. With his name not on the list this time, fans’ questions were directed to Enrique. On the other hand, De Gea is seen in good form at Manchester United. His role in Man U’s last few matches has really stirred up the English Premier League. A section of supporters believes that not keeping them in the 2022 World Cup could lead to the downfall of the Spain team.

Since 1974, Spain has participated in consecutive World Cups. This is their 16th World Cup. In the 2018 World Cup Spain lost to Russia on penalties. Then Julian Lopetegui was removed from the position of head coach of the national team. De Gea, Sergio Ramos, Thiago Alacantara, and Marcos Alonso will not be in Spain’s squad for the World Cup in Maroondah. Enrique changed the entire opening of the Spanish defense for this time. The old ones have been replaced by the new ones. Along with Ramos, PKO is also missing from Spain’s roster. Both Ramos and Pique were part of Spain’s World Cup-winning squad. Most of that team will not perticipate this time. There will only be Sergio Busquets. On the other hand, Real Sociedad captain Mike Warzabal will not be in this World Cup.
