Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported overall sales of 22,910 units in August 2023, which is a significant increase of 53% compared to the sales of 14,959 units achieved in August 2022. While domestic sales stood at 20,970 units, the company reported exports of 1,940 units in the month of August’ 2023.
TKM experienced 34.2% sales growth in January-August 2023, selling 147,192 units, compared to 109,669 units in the same period last year. In addition, the enhanced production capacity through three shift operations have enabled TKM to meet the ever-growing market demand. In the previous month of July 2023, the company achieved its highest monthly wholesale figures ever by selling 21,911 units, thus showcasing the company’s strong performance by consistently maintaining an upward trend in recent times.
