Bihu is an important festival in Assam and it is celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. It is the time when families come together, feasting on traditional delicacies and exchanging hope and prosperity. Topcem Rongali Bihu Celebration 2023 started from 7th April,2023, with the first activity being organized in Seneh and featured distribution of gifts, bihu delicacies – pitha, laruetc. accompanied by Bihu dance.
Similar activities will also be organized at Amar Ghor, Ganasarathi Old Age Home, Kalyani Niwas Children Home, Ashadeep, Assam Shishu Kalyan Sadan, Maa Kamakhya Old Age Home, Rishi Hazarika Home for Children and Shishu Sarothi across the districts of Kamrup (M) and Kamrup spread over 4 days.Flagging of the event today, Dr. Anil Kapur, President, Sales & Marketing, Meghalaya Cements Ltd said “As the auspicious occasion of Bihu approach us, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to you and your family. Topcem has a tradition of doing activities for the development of the challenged people from various strata of the society. Topcem has been doing this bihu activity since 2010 and will continue to do it in the future ”.

Rongali Bihu is also marked as the festival of joy, fun and dance, which keeps the spirit high throughout the year.
