Tourism Secretary laid foundation stone for view point on Dariya Hill

On Monday, tourism secretary Ranphoa Ngowa laid the cornerstone for the Dariya Hill tourist viewpoint. The Arunachal Tourism Society’s ICR unit funded the viewpoint, which is a component of larger initiatives to enhance visitor infrastructure and encourage eco-friendly and sustainable travel. By protecting and safeguarding the eco-tourism site’s unique biodiversity, the tourism secretary encouraged the locals to embrace sustainable tourist practices. He also emphasized the need of cleanliness and kindness while interacting with visitors.

Pema Norbu Thongchi, the OSD to Tourism minister, advised the people to preserve the unspoiled environment and avoid hasty construction in such peaceful areas. He encouraged them to take inspiration from the conservation work being done by the Bugun people. The projected tourism viewpoint at Dariya Hill, according to ICR deputy commissioner Talo Potom, is the greatest spot in the state capital for leisure activities. Visitors can take in the expansive scenic beauty of the entire capital city as well as some of the plain areas of Assam. Under the direction of the ICR DC, the Arunachal Tourism Society’s ICR unit planned a one-day exploration-cum-trekking program at Dariya Hill on November 24.
