Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today officially launched its Environment Month 2025 campaign under the theme “Sustainable Resource Management Drive,” reaffirming its commitment to the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 and the vision of a carbon-neutral future. The initiative adopts ‘Zero-Base Thinking’ and promotes the 4Rs—Refuse, Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce—to drive transformative sustainability across the company’s operations and value chain.
TKM’s green journey is underscored by key milestones including 100% renewable energy use for grid electricity, 96% waste recyclability, and 89.3% water needs met through rainwater harvesting and recycling. The 25-acre ‘Ecozone’ learning center has already reached over 42,000 students and stakeholders.
Throughout June, the “TKM Sustainable Hub 2025” will host a series of Green Expos, student-led upcycling projects, eco-product showcases, and sustainable technology demos. The company is also targeting zero plastic packaging by 2030 and increasing community outreach to promote environmental responsibility. Toyota dealerships are preparing to actively engage local communities through eco-awareness drives and sapling distribution events. With increasing consumer interest in green innovation, the market presents strong potential for Toyota’s sustainability-focused initiatives and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
