Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has taken center stage at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, unveiling its innovative green technology product line-up and robust localization initiatives. Themed ‘Grow India – Grow with India,’ the exhibition underscores TKM’s unwavering commitment to national priorities such as ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat,’ ‘Energy Security,’ and ‘Carbon Neutrality.’ Celebrating 25 years of operations in India, Toyota showcased a spectrum of electrified vehicle technologies, including Battery Electric Vehicle, Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle, Fuel Cell Vehicle, Flex Fuel vehicle, and Emergency Response Vehicles.
Noteworthy exhibits include the Innova HyCross, a Strong Hybrid Electric showcasing TKM’s efforts in localizing electric powertrain parts in India, and the Mirai, a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle exemplifying Toyota’s dedication to eco-conscious transportation. The HyCross Electrified Flex Fuel Vehicle, a world-first prototype, merges electrified powertrain efficiency with higher ethanol substitution, promising the lowest carbon emissions. Additionally, the Hyryder CNG and Hilux Emergency Response Vehicles highlight Toyota’s diverse sustainable mobility solutions catering to varied customer needs.
