On Earth Day 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability with an emphasis on its green mobility initiatives. As part of its alignment with Toyota’s Environmental Challenge 2050, the company continues to push forward with efforts toward carbon neutrality, promoting clean technologies and renewable energy adoption throughout its operations. TKM is focusing on electrified vehicle technologies (xEVs) and sustainable manufacturing processes as part of its broader strategy.
The company has achieved significant sustainability milestones, including the use of 100% renewable electricity, recycling over 96% of its waste, and meeting 89.3% of its water requirements through rainwater harvesting and recycling efforts. TKM’s Green Wave Project has also planted over 328,000 trees, helping restore ecosystems and foster biodiversity. Its Ecozone educational space has empowered more than 40,000 students with knowledge on environmental stewardship.
The demand for electric vehicles and energy-efficient solutions is on the rise, positioning TKM to strengthen its market presence in the region.
