TPEM partners with Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon to enhance India’s charging infrastructure

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), pioneers of India’s EV revolution, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading charge point operators (CPOs),Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon,to further develop India’s charging infrastructure. This MoU crucially builds on the significant existing presence of each operator in the charging ecosystem and TPEM’s unique telematics insights basis more than 1.15 lakh Tata EVs on Indian roads. TPEM will assist four CPOs in installing chargers at frequent EV owners’ locations and provide insights to improve customer experience.

India’s leading CPOs, Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon, have a network of nearly 2,000 charging points across key cities, forming the backbone of sustainable mobility. They plan to roll out over 10,000 additional charging points within 12-15 months. Mr. Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said,“This collaboration will benefit from TPEM’s unparalleled EV usage insights, coupled with the CPOs’ innovative charging solutions and entrepreneurial spirit, and create 10,000+ additional charging points in the country by FY25.”

TPEM is partnering with Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeonto to develop a smart payment gateway using co-branded RFID cards for Tata EV users, offering loyalty programs and a dedicated customer care number for assistance.
