BJP National President JP Nadda and National General Secretary (Org) B.L. Santosh will visit Tripura on March 9 to attend the two-year anniversary celebration of the BJP-led state government, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha announced on Monday. The grand event will take place at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala from 11 AM to 1:30 PM, marking the completion of two years of the current administration.
Addressing a party meeting, Dr. Saha recalled how CPI(M) and Congress had attempted to create confusion on March 2, 2023, after the election results, by claiming that the BJP would not return to power. However, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the people’s trust for the party’s victory and successful government formation. Highlighting the government’s developmental achievements, Dr. Saha noted that BJP leaders, MLAs, and Ministers have been actively engaging with constituencies. He emphasized that the March 9 event will showcase the government’s work over the past two years.
With 56 booths mobilized for the event, Dr. Saha urged party members to ensure maximum participation, stating, “The success of this program depends on our collective efforts.”
