Tripura CM vows action against those creating unrest amid attacks on temples

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha issued a stern warning on Monday to individuals attempting to disrupt peace in the state by attacking idols and temples of Hindu goddesses.

Addressing the media after attending a blood donation camp, Dr. Saha highlighted the activities of certain vested interests working against the state’s progress. “Such incidents are unacceptable. Whenever these situations have come to my attention, I have taken immediate action. The Tripura Police have responded promptly, and we are gathering information from various sources. We are actively working to tackle these situations, and in the coming days, we will do even more. The government is functioning smoothly, and peace prevails in the state, which seems unacceptable to some. I urge those involved in these actions to desist immediately,” Dr. Saha stated.
