The Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) on Monday urged Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan to expedite the investigation into alleged multi-crore corruption surrounding the installation of high-mast floodlights at the MBB Stadium in Agartala. The TCA emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in the case, which has raised concerns about the misuse of funds earmarked for the development of sports infrastructure in the state.
The association expressed disappointment over delays in the investigation and called for swift action to identify those responsible for financial irregularities.
