Tripura police and the Border Security Force (BSF) have arrested 12 Bangladeshi nationals and three Indian touts involved in illegal activities across the Indo-Bangladesh border. In the first operation, West Agartala Police apprehended five Bangladeshi nationals—Sohel Rana, Nurman Ali, Hamim Ali, Litan Ali, and Salim Riyaj—who had entered Tripura illegally. Officer-in-Charge Paritosh Das confirmed that the detainees, originally from Chapai Nababganj, were found with mobile phones, and a case has been filed against them.
