Major drug bust in Tripura, ₹7 crore worth of Yaba tablets recovered

In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Assam Rifles and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 70,000 Yaba tablets worth ₹7 crore in Tripura’s Khowai district on June 1. Two individuals were arrested in the joint operation, which took place in Teliamura town. Officials intercepted a WagonR vehicle bearing registration number TR 01-BL-0337 and discovered the tablets concealed within the car.
