The Additional Sessions Judge Court, Dharmanagar, North Tripura, on Monday, March 10, convicted four Bihar residents in a cannabis smuggling case and sentenced them to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment.The case dates back to March 5, 2019, when the Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a search operation on the Humsafar Express at Dharmanagar Railway Station. The search led to the recovery of 29.5 kg of cannabis, which was being transported illegally by the accused.
