The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura successfully foiled multiple trans-border smuggling bids along the Indo-Bangladesh border, seizing a large quantity of contraband items worth over Rs 8 lakh. In a series of operations, the BSF seized 88 kg of Ganja, 470 bottles of Phensedyl, and 50 kg of sugar, valued at Rs 8,90,308. Additionally, four cattle were also confiscated. In collaboration with Railway Police, BSF personnel apprehended three Indian touts from the village of North Kaiyadepha in Sepahijala district, located along the Bangladesh border.
