The Director General of Police (DGP), Amitabh Ranjan, assured the public on Friday that comprehensive measures have been implemented to ensure a peaceful Durga Puja celebration throughout Tripura.During his visit to various police stations in the Gomati and Sepahijala districts, DGP Ranjan reviewed the preparedness and operational efficiency of the police forces in the region.
Speaking to reporters, he emphasized the commitment of the Tripura Police: “My force is motivated. With Durga Puja approaching and recent elections concluded, I am inspecting the police stations. My police force is a source of pride for me. They are doing excellent work and handling everything bravely to maintain peace. I am confident this will continue in the coming days.”
DGP Ranjan further stated that law enforcement personnel have been deployed extensively to maintain order and security. “Despite all constraints, we will make every effort to ensure a peaceful environment in the state. We have implemented various plans for the upcoming Durga Puja, including patrolling, checks, and more. I believe this Puja will be peaceful and well-organized,” he added.
