TVS Motor Company has reported a phenomenal performance for June 2026, with total monthly sales skyrocketing by 47 percent year-on-year to hit 590,003 units. This massive surge from the 402,001 units recorded in June last year highlights robust demand across both domestic and international markets. The growth was comprehensively driven by the two-wheeler segment, which climbed 47 percent to touch 565,417 units, including a 53 percent jump in scooter sales and a 42 percent rise in motorcycle shipments.
The undisputed highlight of the month was TVS Motor’s electric vehicle division. The company’s electric two-wheeler sales more than tripled, exploding to 48,537 units in June 2026 compared to just 14,400 units in the same month last year. Simultaneously, the brand expanded its global footprint with a 47 percent spike in international business, accounting for 172,355 total units exported. Three-wheelers also contributed steadily to the monthly momentum, bringing in 24,586 units.
This strong monthly wrap-up has propelled TVS Motor Company to its highest-ever quarterly performance. For the first quarter of the 2027 fiscal year, the automaker registered a historic 16.31 lakh units in total sales. Two-wheelers grew by 27 percent to 15.64 lakh units over the quarter, while three-wheelers surged by 48 percent. With its international business expanding by 33 percent for the quarter, TVS Motor enters the rest of the fiscal year with unprecedented sales momentum.
