Uttarakhan tunnel, rescue operation to for two to three days

An incident took place on Uttarakhand district where a tunnel got collapsed due to landslide and with that trapped several workers inside on November 12. However, On Monday first video of the workers was captured after a camera was slipped inside to film the trapped men.

Since then, the rescuers have developed contact with the trapped men by providing oxygen, food and water through a narrow pipe inserted earlier.

Further, the rescuers appear to be using two-way radios to communicate with the trapped men and in the video released to the press, shown that one of them is holding a walkie-talkie in his hands.

On the other hand, Federal Highways and Roads Minister Nitin Gadkari had visited the site and said that the rescue operations could go on for two to three days.
