UV-C based ‘CoronaOven’ products

Nepal has seen a steady rise in its Corona caseload over the past few months. However, in recent weeks, an accelerated surge in the number of Covid-positive cases has further disrupted the Himalayan nation and led to the enforcement of multiple local/partial lockdowns across the country. In a bid to contribute towards Nepal’s fight against Covid-19, Bengaluru-based nanotechnology start-up Log 9 Materials has decided to introduce its flagship UV-C-technology based surface disinfection solution to the Nepalese market. At the moment, the Indian start-up is looking to expand its footprints to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lalitpur, Biratnagar and other big cities in Nepal.

Mr. Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO, Log 9 Materials says, “As our ‘CoronaOven’ product line has proved to be a great success in the Indian market, we now want to emulate a similar model in neighboring countries like Nepal and various international export markets. Hereon by introducing our product portfolio to the Nepal, we are hoping to enable and empower the country’s citizens with safe and scientific sanitization/disinfection solutions”

Over the last few months, CoronaOven has established itself as the leading UV-technology based commercial disinfection product in India, with customers ranging from Indian Army, State Police Departments, PSUs, reputed hospitals. The product line has been tested and certified in terms of proper UV-C dosage by India’s apex medical research body ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research)-authorized CSIR-CSIO.
