V-Guard Industries Ltd reported strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY 2026-27, with consolidated revenue from operations rising 38.2% year-on-year to Rs 1,852.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Profit after tax increased 71% to Rs 111.67 crore, compared with Rs 65.29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The consumer electricals and electronics company recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 3,663.54 crore for the six months ended September 30, marking a growth of 30.5% over Rs 2,807 crore in the year-ago period. Half-year profit after tax rose 73.9% to Rs 241.92 crore from Rs 139.14 crore.

Mithun K. Chittilappilly, chairman and managing director of V-Guard Industries, said all business segments delivered strong growth, supported by price increases and healthy volume growth across most categories. He attributed the performance to the company’s resilience, strategic focus and supportive market conditions. However, he noted that the West Asia crisis continued to put pressure on margins. The company is taking measures to safeguard supplies and profitability while monitoring geopolitical developments.

In Kolkata, V-Guard’s performance is relevant to the city’s consumer electricals distribution network and retail trade. Demand, product pricing and competition will remain key factors shaping market conditions, although the company did not disclose Kolkata-specific sales figures. The management expects healthy growth in the coming quarters.
