Multinational mining company Vedanta has announced the appointment of Sonal Srivastava as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from June 1, 2023. During her tenure, she will lead the mining chief’s financial strategy she will also be responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analytics while driving digitization and profitability.
She will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver on business goals. Prior to joining Vedanta, Srivastava was working at Holcim Group. During her tenure at Holcim Group, she served as CFO of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa operations, according to a Vedanta statement accessed by news agency PTI.
