Vedanta appoints veteran Terry Daly as advisor for semiconductor biz

After appointing semiconductor veteran David Reed as CEO of the Vedanta-Foxconn joint venture, Indian mining company Vedanta has now appointed Terry Daly as advisor to the semiconductor business.
Daly will be responsible for providing strategic advice and input as the group looks at setting up a semiconductor fab unit and semiconductor assembling and testing unit in India, Vedanta said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Terry Daly to our team,” said David Reed, CEO, Vedanta-Foxconn Semiconductors Ltd. (VFSL) As an industry veteran, Daly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience managing several workstreams critical to establishing a world-class semiconductor fab.
