The Vibrant Gujarat roadshow, led by Shri MulubhaiBera, the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, Climate Change, Government of Gujarat, concluded in Guwahati on November 24, 2023. The event aimed to explore collaboration and cooperation across various sectors, including tourism, hospitality, IT, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace, defense, biotechnology, and chemical & petrochemicals. It also aimed to attract investments in future-ready mega projects like GIFT City, Dholera SIR, and Biotech Park.
Ahead of the roadshow, Shri MulubhaiBera held one-on-one meetings with industry leaders and senior officials. The roadshow began with a welcome address by Shri Bhaskar Phukan, followed by the screening of audio-visual films on Vibrant Gujarat, Dholera SIR, and GIFT City.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Principal Secretary, Forest & Environment, gave a presentation on business opportunities in Gujarat. An experience-sharing session was held, where Shri Vinod Agrawal, Past Chairman of CII Gujarat Council and Chairman & Managing Director of Arunaya Organics Pvt. Ltd., shared his experience in Gujarat.Shri MulubhaiBera urged investments in Gujarat and encouraged active involvement in the nation’s developmental journey. He also praised Gujarat’s government’s investor-friendly policies and its high contribution to India’s exports in 2022-23.
