On Thursday afternoon, news of veteran Bollywood and Marathi stage, film and TV actor Vikram Gokhale’s death surfaced online. Several Bollywood celebrities including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Ali Ghani, and Javed Jaffery took to Twitter to express their condolences. But after some time, news agencies like ANI and PTI reported that the actor is still alive. The 77-year-old veteran actor is in critical condition with life support.
“He is still critical and on life support and has not passed yet. Keep praying for him,” ANI quoted Gokhale’s daughter as saying.
PTI, on the other hand, shared that the actor was admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Pune after his health deteriorated, confirming his condition as critical.
Meanwhile, there are no details about his illness and neither the family nor the hospital has yet released any official statement on his health condition.
