A team of BJP workers ensured ousting of BPF, using social media. The man credited with UPPL’s huge success in assembly elections was Vivek Bansal, leader the social media team.
According to Vivek Bansal, “All credit should go to the dynamic leadership of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, UPPL Chief Mr. Pramod Boro and BJP MLA from Dhekiajuli, Mr. Ashok Singhal. They worked hard on the ground level to ensure the win of the alliance. I just worked as part of a team.” He said they used social media platforms to consolidate the voters. They tried their best to expose the corruption and communal agenda of Mr. Hagrama Mohilary. Under the 17-years of BPF’s misrule, Bodoland faced unprecedented corruption and communal riot charges. Their special focus was on Kokrajhar East and Sidli as both the sitting MLAs wanted to win the elections through money and muscle power. People of Bodoland completely rejected these power-hungry politicians who looted this land for their personal desires and benefits. He hoped that with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leadership of Mr. Pramod Boro, BTR will touch new heights of Development.
Using social media, Vivek Bansal’s team campaigned for UPPL and tried to reach out to the youth delineating the promises that UPPL was making to its electorate candidates. It made special and hardworking efforts to reach out to women in all districts of BTR.
