IMD issues yellow and orange alerts for Tripura

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow and orange alerts for Tripura from July 30 to August 1, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall over the state in the coming days. In a press statement, IMD Agartala detailed the weather conditions leading to the alerts. According to the IMD reports, the dates for the weather disaster are on May 27 & 28 Assam and Meghalaya to face extremely heavy rainfall.
