Due incessant rain & storm, Manipur takes precautionary measures

The northeast region states have been facing landfall cyclonic storm 'Remal' these following days. The natural disaster has left a trail of destruction in the states. In the view of the situation, Manipur Education department officials has announced that both private and government schools will remain close for three days from 29 May to 31 May, 2024. The incessant rain and storm has caused widespread destruction and inconvenience to too many households, for precautionary measures the government has decided to issued the order.

After heat wave now Assam to witness heavy to heavy rainfall

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert north-eastern states as the states will soon face heavy to heavy rainfall in upcoming days. According to the IMD reports, the dates for the weather disaster are on May 27 & 28 Assam and Meghalaya to face extremely heavy rainfall. On the other hand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura will witness on May 27. Further, Arunachal Pradesh will receive extremely heavy rainfall on May 28. And lastly, Sikkim will witness heavy rainfall on May 27 and 28, 2024.
