Recently IMD has released a list of cities which recorded the highest maximum temperature on Monday (April 8). Actually Nandyal witnessed the highest maximum temperature in the country at 43.5 C. After that it was followed by Ananthapuramu (42.8 C), Kadapa (42.6 C) and Kurnool (42.5 C).
